Dear Graduating Students,

As I reflect upon your extraordinary accomplishments, I extend my most heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of you on this. Together, we have traversed an incredible journey within the Faculty of Design and Environment, and it fills me with immense pride to witness your growth, resilience, and incredible achievements.

As I stand before you as a retiring dean, I am filled with a mix of emotions: gratitude, nostalgia, and a profound sense of fulfillment. It has been an honor to serve as your dean and witness firsthand the transformative power of education and the boundless potential within each of you.

Throughout my tenure, I have had the privilege of witnessing your unwavering dedication to your craft, unwavering commitment to excellence, and your unwavering desire to make a positive impact in the world. The countless hours spent in classrooms, studios, and labs have shaped you into talented individuals ready to embark upon new horizons.

As I bid farewell to my role, rest assured that your indomitable spirit, passion, and curiosity will forever remain etched in my memory. Your enthusiasm and relentless pursuit of knowledge have been a constant source of inspiration for both myself and the faculty who have had the pleasure of guiding you along this transformative journey.

As you step into the next phase of your lives armed with diplomas in hand, I implore you to carry the lessons and experiences from our faculty with you. Embrace the challenges that lie ahead, for they are the stepping stones to personal and professional growth. As I retire from the Deanship, please know that your success and accomplishments have been the greatest reward I could ever hope for. Remember, my dear students, that the bonds we have forged here are enduring. Cherish the memories shared within this campus, the friendships made, and the knowledge acquired. As you forge ahead, carrying our faculty’s legacy with you, I encourage you to leave your own mark on the world, to be fearless in pursuing your dreams, and to always remain passionate about change through your talents.
