RE-FRESH (Re-fresh Fighter I) is a Street Fighter-inspired gamified recycling campaign targeting Hong Kong tertiary students. Players combat contamination by inputting correct recycling combos-sort, wash, flatten, recycle-in bullet time to execute special moves and defeat opponents. The interactive mobile game prototype, supported by Instagram content, campus posters, and a promotional video, rewards players with a Capcorn game discount/ Capcorn game discounts. By turning proper recycling into an empowering gaming experience, the project boosts awareness, accuracy, and real participation to reduce contamination and support Hong Kong’s recycling goals.
