In the redevelopment process, there are opportunities to create greenery and open space networks in Kwun Tong. Proposing to expand the Kwun Tong promenade open space from the coast through the industrial town, all the way to the town center/ Kwun Tong MTR station, a more walkable corridor with greenery space, art and culture, catering programs is suggested to foster better spatial planning in view of existing uses. Further, increased physical and visual greenery connection at ground and upper level at existing and new buildings are suggested for multi-level visual backdrop, provision of community activities (e.g. urban farming) for the enjoyment of the general public
經歷了眾多重建項目的觀塘，有着將其打造為綠化及休憩空間網絡的潛力。 此計畫建議將觀塘海濱長廊開放空間由海岸擴展至工業城，一直延伸至市中心/觀塘港鐵站，極力打造一條更適合步行的連結，而當中包括的主題有：綠化空間、藝術文化、餐飲項目，以騰出更好的空間並根據現有需求用途進行規劃。 此外，建議在現有和新建築的地面和上層增加物理/視覺綠化連接，並營造多層次的視覺背景予行人，同時提供社區活動（例如城市農業）供公眾參與。
