This project aimed to redesign the old public estate by adding the historic culture of the public estate to create uniqueness in every public estate in Hong Kong. The Tai Yuen estate in Tai Po is chosen as it is an old public estate that has several designs that can be improved and it has a strong cultural of Hoklos as most of the residents in Tai Yuen estate are Hoklos. With the uniqueness in the public estate, a sense of community and belongings can be created. This approach can serve as a model for future projects that aim to embrace and showcase the unique histories and cultures of different communities across Hong Kong.
本計畫旨在重新設計舊公共屋邨，加入公共屋邨的歷史文化，為香港每個公共屋邨創造獨特性。之所以選擇大埔的大元邨，是因為它是一個老舊的公共屋邨，而且有很多地方可以改進，並且文化濃厚，因爲大元邨的居民大多是鶴佬人。憑藉著公共房地產的獨特性，可以創造社區感和歸屬感。這種方法可以作為未來計畫的典範，旨在擁抱和展示香港不同社區的獨特歷史和文化。
