Nature’s Pathway: Creating a Green Corridor for Biodiversity and Connectivity

This project aims to connect the brownfield and greenfield sites in the Ping Shan area, located in the center of Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long, and Tuen Mun. While the Hong Kong Wetland Park and Kung Um Shan were of high ecological value, there were many highway crossings along the way. As a result, the area of green space is discontinuous, and ecological connectivity is greatly reduced. Therefore, the creation of a green corridor will provide more green spaces and habitats for various organisms, as well as more recreational areas for public use, and create an environment where humans and ecology can coexist.
