This design envisions the revitalization of Hong Kong’s fallow farmlands in the Kam Tin region, through the integration of recreational agriculture and eco-cultural elements to establish a sustainable tourism destination.
The area’s abundant ecological resources, active farmhouses, barbecue & camping facilities, and historical landmarks provide a strong foundation for the proposed interventions. The design seeks to restore the farmland ecology and revive the agricultural landscape through the implementation of sustainable cultivation practices and economic models.
Incorporating modern amenities, the plan aims to create an appealing agri-tourism hub that attracts local participation in farming activities and exploration of the serene historical sites amidst lush greenery and winding pathways. Poised to become a rejuvenated haven, this destination will enable the collective appreciation of nature’s bounty, paving the way for a new chapter in the land’s narrative.
錦田擁有豐富的生態資源，現存農舍、燒烤露營區及古蹟歷史，具有休閒農業及生態文化旅遊區的發展潛力。同時針對閒置農地問題嚴重，本設計提出復耕作為解決方案。設計將打造綠蔭婆娑的舒適遊憩空間，遊人可在曲徑通幽中納涼賞景，體驗耕種的樂趣、探索古蹟歷史。旨在恢復農地自然生態，重塑田園風貌，並融入現代元素，打造一個吸引本地遊客來耕種的樂園。也為地區注入新的活力,成為嶄新的休憩勝地，一同感受大自然的恩賜，為這片土地譜寫嶄新的篇章。
