Many Asian cultures have historically adhered to strict gender roles and expectations, assigning specific responsibilities, behaviours, and social roles based on gender. In some societies, men are expected to be the primary breadwinners while women have often been assigned domestic and caregiving duties.
The collection expresses the belief that everyone has the right to dress, play and be whoever they want. There should not be any boundaries to define gender roles for any creature, even human beings. ‘Be myself’ is my definition of beauty.
