What are the influencing factors for the number of MiC projects in Hong Kong’s construction industry?

The progressive construction technique called Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) aims to transform the high-quality and performance of creation initiatives. It offers benefits ranging from reduced construction waste, simplified supply chain to enhanced production quality. Despite all of its potential, MiC’s widespread adoption is beset by a complex array of difficulties. The overall objective of this study is to determine the significant variables that have influenced the course of MiC projects in Hong Kong’s construction sector. It aims to identify the complex factors that have contributed significantly to the adoption of MiC in different manufacturing projects by carefully examining case studies and interviews with important industry professionals.

Based on the analysis, the study provides comprehensive insights into the improving the adoption of MiC into the Hong Kong construction industry. By identifying these key components, recommendations are made to the stakeholders, politicians, and industry experts, allowing them to harness MiC’s strengths for a more sustainable, green, and inventive creation region in Hong Kong. This study intends to contribute to the ongoing narrative of good trade inside the business by focusing on the elements that have stimulated the growth and adoption of MiC within Hong Kong’s construction industry.
