This project attempts to capture the footprint of human in the wild nature along Yuen Tsuen Ancient Trail. The trail in Tai Lam Country Park can be traced back to ancient time when the old Hong Kong inhabitants earned their living with farming and fishing. At the time of Qing Dynasty, there are villages settling in Yuen Long Plain which is surrounded by hills. Villagers had to walk longer distance, and stepped into the wild for trading necessities in markets between Yuen Long and Tsuen Wan. This project brings people to explore the lives and lifestyles in the past and therefore provides a social value with exploration in seeking self identity.
