As I write this message, I am looking back at the programme’s photos of your cohort. Time flies! Just four years ago, you were still so green and fresh during your concrete lab sessions, but now you are ready to embark on a new voyage. I am truly delighted to witness the growth you have shown over the years, and I am confident that you will become future professional surveyors and capable members of society, and pursue your life’s goals and dreams. This marks the end of one stage, but also the start of a new chapter. Your dedication, perseverance and imagination will guide you to where you aspire to be.

“Track to Infinity” is the theme of this year’s Graduation Show. We are living in a radical, fast-paced world where changes happen rapidly and cycles are increasingly short. Things that were in fashion just a few months ago can quickly become outdated and obsolete. Adaptability is the key to navigating this landscape, and I am confident that you have what it takes to succeed and reach destinations of infinite possibilities that no one has achieved before. As I have shared with previous cohorts, excelsior is the quality we hope to see in you. Always strive to do the best you can.
