Your efforts and achievements have helped lay the foundation for this important transformation, and your contribution is deeply valued.

As designers, you bring insight, creativity, and a strong sense of purpose to solving problems in a human-centred way. You do what designers do best: identify needs, develop thoughtful solutions, and create outcomes that serve people and stakeholders in meaningful and effective ways. In doing so, you contribute real and lasting value to society.

In the age of AI, the role of the designer is more important than ever. To be the best product designer you can be, you must continue to deepen your understanding of human users, consider the impact of design on society and the environment, and recognise what makes people connect with and love exceptional products. This is your unique strength, and it is a responsibility that belongs to you.

I encourage you to explore widely and aim boldly. A degree in product design can open doors to new places, new experiences, and opportunities around the world.
