I am an enthusiastic designer with lively design thinking and solid painting techniques. I always ground my creative ideas in real needs to ensure designs are practical and functional. I have earned plenty of awards from design competitions and been invited to attend many art exhibitions. Being humorous and friendly, I get along well with people around me. Thanks to strong communication skills and team spirit, I can blend into the collective smoothly and work together with partners to achieve outstanding outcomes in group projects.
This final year project targets Hong Kong’s ’empty-nest’ retired seniors living on their own, who face severe digital exclusion, emotional loneliness, inadequate health management and safety risks amid rapid population aging (1 in 3 people over 65 by 2033). Grounded in 18 semi-structured interviews and questionnaire surveys, the robot adopts zero-threshold age-friendly design: native Cantonese/Mandarin voice interaction, one-step commands and large physical control buttons. It integrates emotional companionship, health monitoring, smart device tutoring, fraud identification and instant emergency response.
The complete design process covers research, sketching, 3D modeling, prototype testing and UI development, aiming to bridge digital gaps and enhance seniors’ quality of life.
本畢業設計作品名為「青糰 Green Round」，是一款專為香港獨居及退休長者研發的AI陪伴輔助機器人。隨著香港人口高齡化情況日趨嚴重，長者普遍面臨數位生活脫節、平日情緒孤獨、慢性疾病管理不善周，以及居家跌倒、電信詐騙等安全隱憂。本專案透過深度用戶訪談、問卷調查、角色模擬觀察與市場競品分析，精準發掘長者的真實需求。產品採用高齡友善設計，支援粵語與國語雙語語音互動、具備一鍵簡易操作與大型實體按鍵，大幅降低使用門檻；整合情緒陪伴、健康監測、智慧裝置教學、詐騙辨識及緊急求助等核心功能。完整設計流程涵蓋情緒版構思、草圖優化、介面設計、3D建模、樣品測試與成品渲染，運用人性化設計與智慧科技填補本地高齡智慧產品的市場缺口。本產品期能協助長者跨越數位落差、紓解獨居孤獨感，並守護居家健康與安全，進而提升晚年生活品質與幸福感。
