BA (Hons) in Product Design
I am Sulit Reign Christiana Daproza from Product Design. I have studied at THEi for four years and have developed many design skills, including design theory, 3D rendering, and marketing. Aside from designing products, I have also experienced collaborating with people from different disciplines, which has allowed me to see different perspectives. During my time developing my design skills, I was able to empathise with people by understanding their needs and difficulties, and solving their problems with my abilities. Product Design has encouraged me to be curious and creative, as well as connect with the people around me.
DJ Medley is a portable DJ controller designed for underground DJs. Unlike traditional controllers or turntables, it features a hexagonal form with magnetic strips, allowing modules to connect seamlessly without cables and enabling flexible, creative configurations.
Inspired by the popularity of EDM and DJing, the design also challenges common misconception that associate DJing mainly with nightlife culture and risky behaviours. Instead DJing is a creative outlet that fosters musical appreciation, confidence, and social connection.
