BA (Hons) in Product Design

As a Product Designer passionate about pet-tech innovation, I create designs that enhance the harmony between pets and their owners. My graduation project is an automated, interactive cat toy designed to curb destructive behavior in indoor cats. Featuring a built-in camera, laser, and pop-up feathers, it allows owners to remotely monitor and play with their cats via a mobile app. It also converts into a manual wand for intimate at-home bonding. I believe good design should solve real-world behavioral issues while nurturing emotional connections. I look forward to bringing this user-centric, empathetic approach to the design industry.

HybridPawcombines connected hardware and software, featuring high-definition video camera for real time cat monitoring, turning a lonely house into a connecting home. Through the HybridPaw app, owners gain unlimited remote control of their cat’s play environment from anywhere. Users can start a play sessions, adjust setting, or tune in any time via the live feed to watch their kitty react.

HybridPaw serves as a 24×7 lock and key for your cat, evolved to match thousands of years of predatory instincts without wrecking your wild modern home. The first feature is Automaton Feather Play! – nestled in the base is a device that randomly twirls feathers during a 15-minute “hide-and-seek” pattern, keeping bored cats fit. Activate it via a button on the toy or remotely through the smartphone app.
