My name is Zou Tin Yan, and I hold a Higher Diploma in Games and Animation. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Cinematic Arts and Technology, with an expected graduation in 2026. During my studies, I have written a comedy script and directed several projects, including the short film *Jinx*, the 2D animation *Happy Birthday*, and *A Girl’s Day*. My work explores the subtle connections between humanity, emotions, and society, with a focus on themes of family, memory, and companionship. My FYP supervisor is Mr. Wong Ho Yin Amos.
Single mother Ah Xi faces a workplace crisis when her job was taken away by AI, leaving her as a low-paid “AI assistant”. Faced with the pressure of raising two children, she first attempts to prove her worth by interfering with the AI’s work, but the AI discovers and suspends her.
Unable to find a job, Ah Xi decides to fight back. After discovered that AI has taken over every industry, she exploits AI vulnerabilities to defraud compensation and forms an “Anti-AI Cooperative” to incite public opinion. However, when the AI begins to retaliate against her family, she discovers that this war between humans and machines is far more complex than she imagined.
