"Luo Qiya is a creator specialising in narrative animation, AI-driven animation production, and film and television post-production design. Strong proficiency is demonstrated in video editing and the full production workflow of AI animation, with experience using Seedance and a range of AI creative models, alongside professional tools such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. The ability to independently complete the entire creative process—from animation production and visual packaging to final editing—is clearly established. In her creative practice, emphasis is placed on constructing visual language through abstract symbolism, with a focus on portraying characters’ moods and subtle emotional expression. Her works are characterised by vibrant colour palettes and strong visual impact. Social observation and humanistic reflection are consistently integrated into her narratives, with the aim of conveying authentic emotions and encouraging audiences to reflect on underlying themes and meanings. Continued exploration of the integration between AI technology and animation art is intended, alongside the ongoing refinement of creative capabilities to produce visually sophisticated works with conceptual depth."
This project examines the integration of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) into traditional animation workflows. Conventional production processes—including storyboarding, composition design, keyframe animation, in-between drawing, and colouring—require substantial labour, expertise, time, limiting efficiency and scalability. By incorporating GenAI technologies such as large language models, multimodal models, and diffusion models, tasks such as in-between generation, colouring, and visual design can be partially automated. Using tools including Seedance 2.0, GPT Image, and Nano Banana, the project explores how AI can lower technical barriers, broaden participation in animation production, and enable creators to focus more on creative expression and artistic innovation.
本項目探討生成式人工智能(GenAI)融入傳統動畫製作流程的應用與影響。傳統動畫製作涵蓋分鏡繪製、構圖設計、關鍵幀製作、中間幀繪製及上色等核心環節,過程需投入大量人力、專業知識與時間,長期限制了製作效率與規模化發展。隨著生成式人工智能的發展,包括大語言模型、多模態模型及擴散模型,相關工具已能協助生成中間幀、進行畫面上色及輔助原畫設計,為動畫產業帶來新的可能性。本項目透過應用Seedance 2.0、GPT Image及Nano Banana等工具,分析其如何降低技術門檻,促進更多創作者參與動畫製作,並使創作者能將更多精力投入於創意表達與藝術創新。
